It is quite obvious that part of Pharmacy Tech job involves basic knowledge of Math to measure the dosage of a prescription, especially when converting from one measurement system to another. A knowledge of basic algebra, is required to perform these simple calculations. Relax, it's just basic algebra and not complex mathematics.

The four main components in Pharmacy Math are:

Weight, Volume, Temperature and Time.

You just need simple calculations - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.
