This course is approved by the California Department of Health Services, Laboratory Field Services Division and upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a National Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician I as well as State of California Phlebotomy License.
The HealthStaff Training Institute’s students receive instruction in the procedures of Phlebotomy and are required to participate in a minimum 40-hour externship in a CDPH approved facility. Upon completion of the Phlebotomy Technician I program, students will take the National Certification Exam, and upon passing the National Exam will have their documentation submitted to the state for State Certification/License.
